Bar Billiards Table Pocket Liner
Bar billiards is a form of billiards that involves scoring points by potting balls in holes that are in the playing surface of the table (as opposed to holes in the corners or sides of the table). In its current format, this traditional bar game started in the UK in the 1930s.

The table is fairly unique because it has no side or corner pockets but instead has nine holes in the playing surface which are assigned various point values ranging from 10 to 200.

Furthermore, 'pegs' or 'mushrooms' are placed by the side and also in front of specific holes and knocking specific pegs over has certain consequences within the game. All shots are played from the front end of the table which means that access to all sides of the table is not necessary, which in turn makes it ideal for smaller bars or pubs.
The pocket liners were designed to replace worn, cracked, chipped, discoloured broken or old pocket liners.

The design incorporated ridges on the outer periphery that keep the pocket liners in place but restrict any subsequent movement one they are put in place.

Fabrication methods ensure the inside of the liners is smooth with a low surface friction to facilitate smooth pocketing of the balls.
